i will most likely buy it. i mean, its history: something to pass on to my kids and say, “see, mommy’s generation was what made your generation retarded!”
its the vagina of your apartment.
My creepy hallway. It is kind of ridiculous how long it is in comparision to the rest of my place.
go to greyhound’s website and use the efare option. one way is only $22 bucks. the buses are usually spacious and they’ll play one of the many fantastic 1980’s movies on VHS. he can take it from downtown NYC to the Bmore travel plaza on boston st.
I have a friend coming down this weekend and we’re both bus virgins.
Is one better than another? Are they all terrible? Is it worth the extra, um, $150 for him to take the train?
i’d go with the D700. you’ll be able to use all your Nikkor lenses and as far as i’m concerned, Nikons are just the superior choice all around. I own an FM10, an N60 and a D40 and have shot with the D700 several times. go with your gut on this one. xo
When I get back from Afghanistan and re-enlist this summer, I plan on thunking down some change to upgrade my camera setup (currently I’m shooting with a Nikon D40 which, while light and simplistic, doesn’t exactly meet my needs). I’ve got my choices whittled down to the Nikon D700 and the Canon 5D.
My gut tells me to go with the D700, just because it outperforms the 5D in regards to low-light and high ISO. Plus, I’ve been shooting with Nikons for about two or three years now. However, I just wanted to get some outside info from people who might know better than me.
Thanks.
So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
